Senior Delivery Manager

The Role

Using your Account Management and IT Services domain knowledge you will build relationships with our customers and work closely with them to understand their pipeline of work.  Within Qual IT you will work alongside Resourcing and Capability to identify the ideal resources for the work.  You will also provide support and assistance to our staff to help them to succeed for our customers.

So, it really is a role that is all about working with people to satisfy our customers and living the Qual IT mantra of “No Surprises”.  Once you’ve understood the customers’ requirements, got the people identified then you need to do the paperwork, so you need to be comfortable writing statements of work and understanding contractual documents and getting the detail right.

In addition you will be working with the Regional General Manager, Regional Sales Team and Service Leads to develop new and existing relationships with organisations across the Auckland region. You must be proactive in your interactions with customers and take initiative to seek out and thoroughly gather requirements and information to ensure you are providing and delivering the best possible solution.

 

Skills Required:

  • A background in Account Management and IT Services industry experience
  • A 'soft' sales approach to account management and customer delivery, with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Experience of developing and running Account Management teams in the IT Services industry
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to understand the drivers of Business and Government
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong consultancy skills, including the ability to understand customer context, assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Results driven with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
